Overview

Students explore the ratio of perimeter, area, surface area, and volume of similar figures in two and three dimensional figures.

Key Steps

In this activity, students will discover the ratios of similar figures. In Problems 1 and 2, they are asked several questions about the ratios of two-dimensional figures.
As an extension, students will discover the ratios of similar three-dimensional figures.
