The International Space Station is producing astronomic volumes of data that NASA is using to solve the challenges of a long-duration, deep-space mission — the next step toward putting boots on Mars.
Now, students can get a look into that work by participating in the mISSion imaginaTIon Design Challenge, a NASA/Texas Instruments (TI) collaboration intended to inspire them to:
- Pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educations to prepare for college and 21st century careers.
- Explore the systems and solutions that support life aboard the International Space Station.
- Engage in relevant problem solving, reasoning and modeling that space agency STEM professionals use every day.
