Exam preparation: Resetting all memory

Use this method for exams that require all data to be deleted, including programs and applications.

IMPORTANT: Resetting all memory permanently deletes all applications from the calculator. Back up your TI-83 Plus handheld to a computer before resetting to restore applications after an exam.*

Use TI Connect™ software to back up any existing applications and restore them after an exam. When prepping multiple calculators, designate one handheld as the “primary” source device.

Visit education.ti.com/ticonnect to download the free connect software and/or product guidebook.

*Note: The TI Connectivity Kit USB cable is required (sold separately). To purchase this cable, visit TI’s online store .
