To display a mixed number as an improper fraction (and vice versa), follow these steps.

Example: Display \( 1 \frac{3}{5} \) as an improper fraction.

1. Select Mode Settings icon or press the j key.
2. Select n/d or U n/d to display a simple fraction or mixed number output.
3. Press ⁄.
4. Press the left arrow key ‹ to input the unit value, 1.
5. Press the right arrow key › to the numerator, press 3.
6. Press the down arrow key ≥ and enter denominator 5.
7. Press =.



Example: Convert \(\frac{9}{6} \) to a mixed number.

1. Press ⁄.
2. Input 9 and press the down arrow key ≥.
3.Input 6 and press the right arrow key ›.
4. Press b c.
5. Press 3 to select the >n/d<>Un/d function.
6. Press =.
