Children under the age of 13
The vast majority of TI websites do not target and are not intended for children under the age of 13. TI values the privacy needs of these children and encourages parents to be an active participant in their child?s online activities and interests. We abide by the Children?s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requirements. TI websites that do not target children will not knowingly collect data from them. If we discover Personal Data from a child that has been provided through a TI website that is targeted to adults and older children, we will eliminate that data.
A few portions of education.ti.com and other TI's Education Technology group web sites may include material of interest to children under the age of 13 as part of a broader family audience target. If the collection of personally identifying information is involved, those specific web pages will be clearly identified, and will require that a parent's or guardian's permission is secured as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requirements. Appropriate notices and instructions will be included on such pages. Parents wishing to access, review or delete their child's personal information should contact us at the firstname.lastname@example.org.
