To draw a tangent line, follow these steps.

Example: Display the graph of a function such as

\( y = \sqrt{36 - x^2} \)

1. Press a Ê, select 5:Tangent(

2. Press the softkey for menu to customize the color and line thickness of the tangent, as well as to choose to store the tangent equation in the available y= variable.

3. Press the arrow keys or numeric keypad to move the cursor along the function to the x-coordinate desired.

4. Press = to draw the tangent.
