To calculate 1 and 2 variable statistics, follow these steps.
Example: How to calculate 1-variable statistics.
x = {5, 9, 7, 4, 6, 250, 35, 100, 84}

1. Select the List Editor icon , or press m and select option 1: Edit.
2. Enter the data into L1.
3. Press m, and press the right arrow key › to CALC.
4. Select 1: 1-Var Stats.
5. Enter L1 for the LIST and let FREQLIST remain blank for the default.
6. Select the softkey for CALCULATE by pressing d or f.
7. The statistics will be displayed (Press the arrow keys to scroll through the entire list of results).

Example: How to calculate 2-variable statistics.

Data for this example:
x: {3,5,8,10}
y: {7,2,3,1}

1. Select the List Editor icon , or press m and select option 1: Edit.
2. Enter the data into L1 and L2.
3. Press m, and press the right arrow key › to CALC.
4. Press the down arrow key ≥ to select 2:2-Var Stats.
5. Enter L1 for the XLIST and L2 for the YLIST and let FREQLIST remain blank for the default.
6. Select the softkey for CALCULATE by pressing d or f.
7. The statistics will be displayed (Press the arrow keys to scroll through the entire list of results).
