Connect™ Software.
How do I update the OS on a TI-89, TI-92 Plus or Voyage 200 with OS version 2.0 or below with TI Connect software?
Use the following procedure when updating a TI-89, TI-92 Plus or Voyage 200 with OS version 2.0 or below, using TI Connect:
• Pull 1 AAA battery out of the calculator.
• Press and hold the APPs key.
• While holding the APPs key, replace the battery and turn the unit on.
• Press [ I ]. On the TI-89 press [ 9 ].
• On PC, Click Start >> Programs >> TI Tools >> TI Connect >> TI OS Downloader.
• Check the communication options and click next.
• Click on start download.
