Activity Overview
We've all done the lesson where you use a string to compare the measurements of the circumference and the diameter of a circle. Students can now explore that same activity on the TI-Nspire.
Before the Activity
Students need only to be familiar with the parts of a circle, specifically the radius, diameter, and circumference.
Download the TNS file and load on all student calculators. Make copies of the student worksheet if needed.
During the Activity
The activity is outlined in the following handouts. The student .tns file is included along with a file showing how it should look when completed.
