This versatile activity set includes a printable scavenger hunt, a Google Slides review, and practice sheets.

This set of activities is an excellent way to refresh students’ algebra skills and prepare them for geometry, while using a TI-84 series calculator to check and support their answers. Created by Ashley (@algebra.einstein), an educator with years of experience teaching everything from 6th grade math to honors-level precalculus classes.

Concepts covered in these activities:

• Solving one variable equations
• Simplifying radicals without decimals
• Graphing linear equations
• Factoring with greatest common factors
• Factoring quadratic trinomials with a=1 and a>1
• Identifying if pairs of lines are parallel or perpendicular

Activity 1: Google Slides Self-Guided Practice

This 11-question, multiple-choice slideshow gives hints if the wrong answer is selected. When correct, students are shown how to check/support their answer with their calculator.

Activity 2: Printable Scavenger Hunt

Pin questions around the room. Students may start at any question working individually, in pairs, or groups. Hints are provided, but can be removed for an extra challenge.

Activity 3: Additional Practice Worksheet

This two-page worksheet contains similar types of questions to give students extra practice.
