The TI-86 has been officially declared a discontinued product, it is not listed for sale on the TI Online Store or through Instructional Product Dealers. The TI-86 continues to be available at limited retailers while supplies last.
For engineering or AP courses, consider either the TI-89 Titanium or the TI-Nspire CX II CAS as a substitute for the TI-86. For general math and science classes, consider either the TI-84 Family or the TI-Nspire CX IIas a substitute for the TI-86.
