Number of Regions - An Introduction to the TI-Nspire CAS

Activity Overview

This activity uses the problem of determining the maximum number of regions formed by n lines in a plane to introduce new users to the TI-Nspire CAS. It illustrates the variety of features available on the TI-Nspire CAS, as well as the ability to look at one problem from multiple representations (numerically, graphically, and analytically).
