Implementing Common Core State Standards for Mathematical Practice with TI-Nspire™ Technology

Designed to give educators actionable strategies to excite and engage students using the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematical Practice, this workshop emphasizes how TI-Nspire™ technology can support classroom discussion, formative assessment and problem solving across the middle grades and high school mathematics curricula.

Pedagogical practices and assessment techniques are addressed through the effective and appropriate use of TI-Nspire™ technology in an interactive Common Core Math Practices-aligned mathematics classroom. Learn how to engage students in the eight CCSS Math Practices through case studies, videos and task analysis. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to implement CCSS Math Practices in your classrooms using TI-Nspire™ technology.
