Implementing Common Core State Standards for Mathematical Practice with the TI-84 Plus Family

Designed to give middle grades and high school educators strategies to excite and engage students using the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematics, this workshop models rich tasks using in-depth discussions about task analysis, questioning strategies and essential TI-84 Plus technology skills to enhance student learning.

The workshop addresses pedagogical practices and assessment techniques through the effective and appropriate use of technology in an interactive Common Core Math Practices-aligned mathematics classroom. Learn how to engage students in the eight CCSS Math Practices through case studies, videos and task analysis. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to implement CCSS Math Practices in your classrooms using the TI-84 Plus family.

This in-person workshop is available in one-, two- and three-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available.
