  • Take STEM learning to new heights by integrating TI-Nspire CX II calculators with CoDrone technology!
  • In the hands-on session, educators will:
    • Explore how to bring coding, robotics and data analysis to life in the classroom.
    • Learn practical strategies for engaging students in math, science and engineering concepts through real-world applications, problem-solving challenges and interactive activities.
  • Whether you’re new to coding or looking to expand your technology toolkit, this session will provide innovative ways to boost student engagement and deepen conceptual understanding.

10:40 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. | Second morning sessions

Session 4 | Building Thinking Classrooms With TI Technology

  • Explore strategies for building a thinking classroom using TI technology. Learn how to integrate TI tools to create a classroom environment that encourages collaboration, critical thinking and deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.

Session 5 | Developing Deeper Conceptual Understanding to Prepare for the SAT® Exam With TI Technology

  • Students who only excel at procedural fluency (i.e. memorizing steps and formulas) will have a tough time on the math section of the redesigned SAT® exam. They need a deeper understanding of the concepts. Learn to leverage TI technology to help meet this goal by providing activities and ideas that promote conceptual understanding.
  • This session features both TI-84 Plus CE and TI-Nspire™ CX technologies.

Session 6 | STEM Activities to Engage Your Students With the TI-Innovator™ Hub and Rover

  • This session is designed for math and science teachers interested in introducing STEM projects in classrooms, featuring the TI-Innovator™ Hub and Rover with TI-Nspire™ CX technology.
  • Guide students on the path toward building their own STEM projects with activities that challenge them to address current real-world issues.
  • Use math, computer programming and engineering to design and build models to solve current problems.
  • No coding experience is necessary.

12:10 – 1:00 p.m. | Lunch

1:00 – 2:30 p.m. | First afternoon sessions

Session 7 | Topics in Geometry With the TI-Nspire™ CX II Graphing Calculator

  • Explore geometry topics including congruence, similarity and right triangles, and transformations using the TI-Nspire™ CX II handheld.

Session 8 | How TI Graphing Technology Can Help ALL Students Learn Math

  • Discover how to use your TI graphing calculator as a learning tool to help students explore math in ways they may never have imagined.
  • In this session, you will explore how real-world examples can help student develop an understanding of mathematical concepts.

Session 9 | Exploring Topics in AP® Precalculus With TI Technology

  • Explore how TI technology can deepen understanding of mathematical modeling, functions, rates of change and other approaches to precalculus.

2:40 – 4:10 p.m. | Second afternoon sessions
