Solution 37687: TI-Innovator™ Hub BRIGHTNESS command cannot reconnect if a Light Sensor was previously connected with index number 4.

Why does the TI-Innovator Hub BRIGHTNESS command not reconnect if a Light Sensor was previously connected with index number 4?

Please Note: This issue is fixed in version 1.1 of Sketch please update your TI-Innovator hub to resolve this issue. If you are unable to update please read the issue that exists on 1.0 below:

The sketch supports a different number of instances of each object type e.g. it supports a maximum of four light sensors.

The on-board devices (LED, RGB, SOUND, BRIGHTNESS) are included in this count. The end user cannot use the same index as that used for the on-board devices.

Your program can use the other named devices (e.g. LIGHTLEVEL 1..3) and use the on-board devices through their official names.

Here’s the mapping for the on-board devices:

BRIGHTNESS = LIGHTLEVEL 4
LIGHT = LED 16
SOUND = SPEAKER 2
COLOR = RGB 3
