When Press-to-Test mode is ENABLED the TI-84 Plus CE power management state known as “Deep Sleep” will not occur.
The Graphing Calculator’s power state will not go into the advanced power savings state that preserves the battery life for a prolonged period of time. The unit will be in a power state that will utilize the battery as in a regular off state. This results in a lower than expected battery charge life (the unit’s battery will continue drain in approximately 7-9 hours while in this state).
