Solution 12246: Calculating One-Variable Statistics Using the TI-25X Solar.

How do I calculate one-variable statistics using the TI-25X Solar?

The following example will demonstrate how to calculate one-variable statistics using the TI-25X Solar.

Example: For the following values x={2, 3, 6, 8, 4, 11}

• What is the mean?
• What is the population standard deviation?

Input the values:
• Input 2 [Σ+]
• Input 3 [Σ+]
• Input 6 [Σ+]
• Input 8 [Σ+]
• Input 4 [Σ+]
• Input 11 [Σ+]

Calculate the variables:
• Mean - Press [2nd] [x-bar] (5.6666667)
• Population standard deviation - Press [2nd] [Σn] (3.0912062)

Please see the TI-25X Solar guidebook for additional information.
