Solution 12145: Displaying Matrices in Pretty Print on the TI-89 Family, TI-92 Family, and Voyage™ 200 Graphing Calculators.

Why did my TI-89 Titanium calculator display matrices in pretty print but now it displays them in brackets. How can I fix this?

When the "Pretty Print" feature is turned "OFF" on the TI-89 family, TI-92 family and Voyage 200 graphing calculators, the calculator will display matrices in brackets.

For example, with the "Pretty Print" feature disabled, if a matrix is created and/or stored into a variable, the calculator will display the matrix similar to:


To turn "Pretty Print" back "ON", press the [MODE] key, scroll down to "Pretty Print", press the right arrow, select "2:ON", and press [ENTER] [ENTER].
With the "Pretty Print" feature enabled, if a matrix is created and/or stored into a variable, the calculator will display the matrix similar to:
