Why doesn't the rechargeable battery inside of my TI-Nspire Handheld last or charge as long as it used to?
All lithium-ion rechargeable batteries lose capacity over time, and some reduction in capacity is normal. The expected life of the TI-Nspire Rechargeable Battery is approximately 3 years with normal use. If your battery is showing signs of significant capacity loss, it should be replaced for best performance. Replacement batteries are available for as low as $5 through Instructional Product Dealers and the TI Online Store, as well as being available through the TI Tech Rewards Program.
