Use the U.S. Constitution, Scrabble, and your graphing calculator to examine a number of statistical concepts with your Algebra 1 students.

This activity can be used in association with any document other than the US Constitution. Depending upon the grade level, you may want to choose a different piece of writing.
In order to calculate the number of each letter in the alphabet, use the "find" tool in Microsoft Word. I have divided the activity up so that there are 5 groups; however, depending upon the number of individuals, you may want to further break it up.
