The students will learn to re-express data as a linear relationship even though the raw data does not fit a linear model. Students will learn important concepts involving data transformation and re-expression.

The teacher will need to transfer the ReExpressing Data file to the Nspire handhelds.

The students should be familiar with how to use lists and create scatterplots as well as how to perform regressions and interpret their results.

Install the file ReExpressing Data on the nspires. Instruct the students to open the ReExpressing Data file on their Nspires.

The lesson is self paced so expect students to finish at different times. ReExpressing Data Part 2 is recommended to be done next which further explores the use of logs in re-expression.
