John Urschel: Life after football
The 6’3, 305-pound former lineman recently did the unexpected by hanging up his football cleats to focus on his doctorate in Applied Mathematics full-time. “Not every football player can retire at the young age of 26, but thankfully, my love of math opens up a variety of career options for me off of the football field,” said Urschel. “I’m excited to be a part of the T³ International Conference this year to help inspire teachers to return to their classrooms and get their kids to love math.”
Spark an Aha Moment!
The T³ conference tackles hot topics that teachers and administrators face in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. A primary focus is on using Texas Instruments (TI) technology to enhance teaching and bring STEM subjects to life for students. Throughout the three-day conference, educators will strengthen their teaching and technology skills, while connecting with others who share their passion for learning. Teachers can personalize their conference experience by choosing from among hundreds of different math, science and STEM sessions — presented by teachers for teachers.
