How do I locate and transfer TI-Nspire CX Navigator portfolio and roster files?
To locate TI-Nspire CX Navigator roster and portfolio files, please browse to the directory location listed below using the steps that match your operating system.
Please Note: Make sure the TI-Nspire CX Premium Teacher Software is closed prior to following the steps below.
Windows
• Press the [Windows key] +[R] to open the run dialog
• In the run dialog copy and paste the path below in the field that appears:
%localappdata%\Texas Instruments\
• Click [OK] to open the above path.
macOS
• Launch [Finder] and then click [Go] [Go to Folder] and copy and paste the path below in the field that appears:
~/Library/Application Support/Texas Instruments/
Please Note: The Library folder may be hidden on some Mac computers. To find location above when the library folder is hidden, simply open the finder, click on "Go", then choose "Go To Folder". In the "Go To Folder" prompt enter the macOS path above.
To transfer TI-Nspire CX Navigator roster and portfolio files follow the steps listed below:
• Locate the file folder [TI-Nspire CX Premium] by navigating to the path listed above using the steps that match your operating system.
• Save the entire folder [TI-Nspire CX Premium] to an external drive that can be accessible on the other computer such as a USB Drive or Network Share.
• Go to the second computer you want to copy the portfolio and roster files and copy the entire [TI-Nspire CX Premium] folder to the same location listed above that corresponds with your operating system.
Please Note: TI-Nspire CX Navigator portfolio and roster files are not backwards compatible and using files created in a newer version of software in an older version of software may cause your files to become corrupted or lost.
