In this activity, you will explore the relationship between the complex roots of a quadratic equation and the related parabola's graph.

Before the Activity

Prior knowledge of how to graph complex numbers of the form a + bi by using the x-axis as the real axis for a and the y-axis as the imaginary axis for bi is necessary.
