Exploring Common Core Topics in Middle Grades Mathematics with TI-Nspire™ Technology

Designed for educators who are just beginning to use TI-Nspire™ technology, this workshop covers the basics of the TI-Nspire™ handheld in the context of a middle grades mathematics curriculum, with a special emphasis on domains and clusters in Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematics.

Designed for educators who need support transitioning to Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Mathematics for sixth, seventh and eighth grades, this workshop covers essential TI-Nspire™ technology skills in the context of middle grades mathematics, with a special emphasis on critical, tough-to-teach concepts and new Common Core content standards.

Overview

This in-person workshop is available in one-, two- and three-day options to accommodate educator-specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. The two- and three-day workshops offer a more extensive exploration of topics. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
