Why does the TI-Nspire CX handheld displays a white screen for an extended period of time after being turned on?
The TI-Nspire CX handheld may display a white screen for an extended period of time after being turned on if the handheld has not been turned on for an extended period of time putting it into hibernate mode, and in addition an unsaved document was left open on the handheld.
The white screen is displayed when the handheld is attempting to open the unsaved document that was open before it went into hibernate mode and is normal.
This white screen will disappear after the document is fully open.
To avoid this white screen from displaying it is suggested to save your document before turning off the device.
