Why does the TI-Nspire CX handheld display brightness fluctuate during data collection?

If the TI-Nspire CX handheld display brightness fluctuates during data collection each time the data collection sensor takes a sample this means that the battery on the handheld is critically low and the cradle battery is full.

This issue may also occur if using a sensor that draws more power, such as the CO2 Gas Sensor or CBR2 Motion sensor.

To avoid this problem, make sure the TI-Nspire CX handheld has a charge above 50% before beginning data collection.
