Why does the TI-Nspire family products return an error when trying to transfer or open documents?
Documents created using the TI-Nspire family handheld and computer software are not backwards compatible. This means that documents saved using the TI-Nspire family handheld and 2.0 operating system will not transfer to a handheld running OS version 1.7 or below. When trying to perform this type of transfer, the error message below is returned:
When using the TI-Nspire family computer software, documents created with the TI-Nspire family computer software 2.0 will not open when using the TI-Nspire family computer software 1.7 or below. When trying to perform this type of action, the error messsage below is returned:
