How do I graph the inverse of a function on a TI-Nspire CX Family?
To graph the inverse of a function please follow the steps listed below:
Please Note: The below steps will only work if you have the latest operating system. For steps on updating the handheld OS follow KB# 21390.
• Open a Graphs page, on the handheld press [Home] and select the [Graphs] icon, on the software click [Insert] then [Graphs].
• Next to f1(x)= enter your function, for example x^2 then press [Enter] to graph the function.
• After the function has been graphed press [Ctrl] then [G] to display the graph entry line.
• Next press the [menu] [3:Graph Entry/Edit] [2:Relation] then enter the function: x=f1(y) then press [Enter] which will graph the inverse.
