Solution 37685: TI-Innovator™ Hub first read of the temperature probe can result in 0 Kelvin (-273 C).

Why is the first read of the temperature probe 0 Kelvin (-273 C)?

Please Note: This issue is fixed in version 1.1 of Sketch please update your TI-Innovator hub to resolve this issue. If you are unable to update please read the issue that exists on 1.0 below:

If a temperature sensor is read quickly after it is connected, the first result can be 0 Kelvin (-273 C).

This behavior is typically observed when the temperature is read immediately after connecting the probe.

It may take a fraction of a second for the temperature to be read correctly and subsequent reads will have valid values.
