Why does my TI ViewScreen panel turn dark when in use with an overhead projector?
If your TI-ViewScreen Panel turns dark when in use with an overhead projector, it may be the result of overheating.
TI recommends overhead projectors that use bulbs rated a 300 Watt or less. Many projectors have the ability to switch between high and low watt bulbs. If your projector has this ability, switch to the low watt bulb setting to see if this resolves the issue.
Some overhead projectors incorporate a cold-light mirror technology which reduces the amount of heat produced by higher-watt bulbs. If you have access to a projector that incorporates this technology, it also may resolve the overheating issue.
