Solution 33671: Correcting a Domain Error When Calculating a 1-Prop Z-Interval on the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus family.
When trying to calculate a 1-Prop Z-Interval, I get a domain error on my TI-84 plus graphing calculator?
When calculating a 1-Prop Z Interval and the number of trials and the number of successes are given it is important to input the trials in n and the number of successes in x if this done incorrectly the calculator will display error domain.
NOTE: Successes number should not be larger than the number of trials.
Example: The Confidence interval for a population proportion is .95, with 1682 successes out of 2589 trials.
