Solution 10046: Troubleshooting When Cabri Geometry™ II Repeatedly Prompts for Registration Information.

Why does Cabri Geometry II repeatedly prompt for registration information?                    

When the Cabri Geometry II software is started, the user name and registration number must be entered. The software writes this information to the executable file. If the executable file is marked as read-only, it cannot save this information and continues to prompt for this information at every start-up.

To change this attribute, refer to the steps provided below.

• Locate the executable file on the hard drive (cabri2.exe).
• Right click on this file and select properties.
• Uncheck the "Read-only" box and close the dialog box by selecting "OK".
