How do I reset the BA II PLUS™ calculator or the BA II PLUS™ PROFESSIONAL?
To reset the BA II PLUS or the BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL calculator, please follow the procedure below (this procedure will work for both the old and new case designs).
1) Press [2nd] [+/-] [ENTER]. The display will show "RST 0.00" if the reset is successful, then all of the manufacturer's defaults will be restored.
Manual reset procedure for the BA II PLUS and the BA II PLUS PROFESSIONAL (this will only work on units with the updated case design).
2) Using a paper clip or other fully solid object, press the small RESET button on the back of the unit. The display will show "RST 0.00", and all manufacturer's defaults will be restored.
Please Note: We do not suggest the use of softer items or items that can leave debris (such as, but not limited to, a pen, a pencil, a twist-tie, etc.). These items can cause the reset circuit to remain complete after releasing the reset button.
