To convert a decimal value to a hexadecimal, binary and octal using the TI-36X Pro calculator, please follow the examples below:

Example: Convert the decimal 100 to hexadecimal, binary and octal.

Please Note: To ensure you are in the proper mode for this conversion, please press [mode] and make sure your setting is on DEC for decimal.

Decimal to Hexadecimal

1) Input 100.
2) Press [2nd] [base n].
3) Select ►Hex and press [enter].
4) 100 ►Hex should be shown on the display. 
5) Press [enter].

The calculator should display 64h as the solution.

Decimal to Binary

1) Input 100.
2) Press [2nd] [base n].
3) Select ►Bin and press [enter].
4) 100 ►Bin should be shown on the display.
5) Press [enter].

The calculator should display 1100100b as the solution.

Decimal to Octal

1) Input 100.
2) Press [2nd] [base n].
3) Select ►Oct and press [enter].
4) 100 ►Oct should be shown on the display.
5) Press [enter].

The calculator should display 144o as the solution.
