Activity Overview

This is a great follow-up to the Introduction to Properties in Reflections. Students may have trouble producing a scaled drawing. Using a scale of 1 to 5 works well. See the figure below for a possible scaled construction.

Before the Activity

Students should have access to either the TI-83 or TI-84 family of calculators.

During the Activity

Students will get an Introduction to Properties in Reflections.

After the Activity

Review student answers:

  • As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging
  • Re-teach concepts as necessary
