Activity Overview

Students will find the best model for planetary motion about the sun. Students will always practice using the laws of exponents.

Before the Activity

Download and read Student Worksheet and TI-NSpire documents. Students should be familar with the Laws of Exponents and have some grasp of regression equations. This activity could also be used to introduce students to the regression concepts.

During the Activity

Students should be able to do this activty by themselves. The instructor should be available to answer questions.
