Provide each student with a copy of the attached .pdf document.

During the Activity

In this activity we will:

Use the register, table and graph to examine the relationship between y = 10x and y = log(10x).

Evaluate logs in the table and on the home screen.

Evaluate logs with base other than 10.

After the Activity

Review student answers

As a class, discuss questions that appeared to be more challenging

Re-teach concepts as necessary
