Next Steps With TI-Nspire™ CAS Technology in High School Mathematics

Designed for educators already familiar with TI-Nspire™ computer algebra system (CAS) technology, this workshop reviews and reinforces the basics of CAS technology and covers new TI-Nspire™ CX CAS handheld features in the context of a high school curriculum, with activities specific to CAS functionality.

Learn how TI-Nspire™ technology facilitates reasoning, sense-making and understanding in an interactive mathematics classroom. You’ll have time to create your own activities and explore ways to enhance classroom activities with formative assessment.

Overview

This in-person workshop is available in 1-, 2- and 3-day options to accommodate educator specific needs. A half-day workshop option is also available. A more extensive exploration of topics is gained with the 2-day and 3-day workshops. A virtual workshop is also available in multiple two- or three-hour sessions.
