Navigating the Digital SAT^® Exam Using TI-Nspire™ CX Technology

Workshop overview

This workshop is designed for mathematics educators who want to learn ways of leveraging TI-Nspire™ CX technology to drive student success on the digital SAT^® exam.

Educators will cover the main topics of the digital SAT^® exam, familiarize themselves with the adaptive format of the test, discuss strategies for helping students better understand key content, and emphasize techniques for teaching with TI-Nspire™ CX technology.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be familiar with:

• Leveraging TI-Nspire™ CX technology in key categories such as algebra, problem-solving, data and statistics, and functions.
• Highlighting the key content areas for the test and adjusting mathematics instruction accordingly.
• Implementing test preparation strategies in the mathematics classroom.
• Using premade activities that reinforce technology skills and deepen student understanding of key topics.

What to expect from your in-person workshop

• Six hours of hands-on, interactive professional learning held in a small group setting.
• Receive your TI technology and training materials at the workshop site.
• Receive a certificate of attendance that may be accepted as professional development credit from your school or district.
• We will follow local protocols and safety recommendations and request that all attendees do the same for the health of all in attendance.
• If circumstances change, we may need to cancel the workshop or convert this offering to a virtual workshop to comply with local guidelines, and we will notify all registrants as soon as possible .
