AP® Precalculus: Develop Procedural and Conceptual Fluency Using TI Technology

When: Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 | 7 p.m. Central time
Technology: TI-84 Plus family, TI‑Nspire™ CX technology
Presenters: Greg Foley, Rachael Gorsuch

Both procedural knowledge and conceptual understanding are necessary in learning mathematics, particularly in manipulating functions, equations and expressions.

In this webinar, the presenters will guide you through:

  • Solving equations and inequalities represented analytically.
  • Expressing functions, equations or expressions in analytically equivalent forms that are useful in a given mathematical or applied context.
  • Constructing new functions using transformations, compositions, inverses or regressions that may be useful in modeling contexts, criteria or data.

Presenters will focus on using the TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator and will also highlight concepts using TI-Nspire™ technology.
