When students lack the mathematical foundation to access grade level mathematics, we need to focus instruction on supporting their learning.
Rather than remediate with prior mathematics, we need to accelerate student learning to provide the opportunity to learn grade level mathematics. Let’s examine together some strategies that can assist in ensuring all students are successful in their continued studies in mathematics.
