To store a regression model into y=, follow these steps.

Data for this example:

L1: {3,5,8,10,15}

L2: {7,8,12,14,17}

Store the regression model:

1. Press m to enter the statistics menu.
2. Press the right arrow key › to reach the CALC menu.
3. Select option 4: LinReg(ax+b) or option 8: LinReg(a+bx).
4. Ensure XLIST is set at L2 and Store RegEQ is set at Y2. Press b Ž and select Y2.
5. Select the softkeys for CALCULATE by pressing d or f.
   Note: The regression equation is stored in the chosen Y= function (e.g., Y2) after the regression calculation is performed.
