Solution 30631: Locating and Transferring TI-Nspire™ Navigator™ Portfolio and Roster Files.

How do I locate and transfer TI-Nspire Navigator portfolio and roster files?

To locate TI-Nspire Navigator roster and portfolio files, please browse to the directory location listed below in the directory [TI-Nspire Navigator]:

Windows® XP
C:\Documents and Settings\[Current User]\Local Settings\Application Data\Texas Instruments\

Windows® Vista/7/10
C:\Users\[Current User]\AppData\Local\Texas Instruments\

Mac® OS X®
/Users/[Current User]/Library/Application Support/Texas Instruments/
Please Note: The Library folder may be hidden on some Mac® computers. To find location above when the library folder is hidden, simply open the finder, click on "Go", then choose "Go To Folder". From here, type in /Users/[Current User]/Library/Application Support/Texas Instruments.

To transfer TI-Nspire Navigator roster and portfolio files follow the steps listed below:

• Locate the file folder [TI-Nspire Navigator] by navigating to the path listed above
• Save the entire folder [TI-Nspire Navigator] to an external drive that can be accessible on the other computer such as a USB Drive or Network Share.
• Go to the second computer you want to copy the portfolio and roster files and copy the entire [TI-Nspire Navigator] folder to the same location listed above that corresponds with your operating system.

Please Note: TI-Nspire Navigator portfolio and roster files are not backwards compatible and using files created in a newer version of software in an older version of software may cause your files to become corrupted or lost.
