Solution 26131: Error Connecting to a TI-Nspire™ Family Handheld after Installing TI-Navigator™ 3.2.

Why does the TI-Nspire ComputerLink, TI Connect-to-Class™, or TI-Nspire Navigator™ have problems finding the TI-Nspire handheld device after installing TI-Navigator 3.2?

The TI-Navigator 3.2 application installs USB drivers for the new USB-based Network Access Point. When the new drivers are installed they can unfortunately deregister previously installed TI-Nspire drivers.

To resolve this issue:

  • Disconnect any TI USB devices from your PC.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the software that is unable to find the TI-Nspire handheld device: either TI-Nspire ComputerLink, Connect-to-Class, or TI-Nspire Navigator's Network Manager.
Please see the TI-Nspire family computer software guidebooks for additional information.
