What theft preventative measures are available for TI calculators?
CCS Educational Inc., a third party dealer, has a product called Bat'ry Guard™. Bat'ry Guard™ is a locking battery door which serves to prevent battery theft from devices. There is a "removal tool" needed for adding/removing the battery door.
For theft preventative measures involving actual calculators, Texas Instruments has the TI-84 Plus family graphing calculators called EZ-Spot. These calculators have the words "School Property" engraved in the face plate and come with "school bus" yellow casings and slide covers which are easily identifiable by educators, administrators and parents.
