How do I disable the STAT wizards on the TI-84 Plus family of graphing calculators?
The STAT wizards prompt the user for all the necessary input for a given statistical calculation which helps reduce syntax errors. Below is a picture of the STAT wizard for the Linear Regression, LinReg(ax+b):
For users who are familiar with previous TI-84 Plus family operating systems and do not want to use the STAT wizards, there is also an option to disable the STAT wizards. To do this, follow the steps below:
1) Press [MODE].
2) Press the [up arrow] key twice to locate the STAT WIZARDS option.
3) Scroll over to OFF and press [ENTER].
4) Press [2nd] [QUIT] to return to the home screen.
