Solution 34779: Correcting a Domain Error When Calculating a 1-Prop Z-Interval on the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition.

When trying to calculate a 1-Prop Z-Interval, why do I get a domain error on my TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition?

When calculating a 1-Prop Z Interval and the number of trials and the number of successes are given, it is important to input the trials in n and the number of successes in x. If this done incorrectly, the calculator will display a domain error.

NOTE: Successes number should not be larger than the number of trials.

Example: The Confidence interval for a population proportion is .95, with 1682 successes out of 2589 trials.
