Are there shortcuts that will make my work faster on the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus Family of Graphing Calculators?
When using the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus Family of Graphing Calculators, below are a few shortcuts that would help in navigating menus easier:
• When working in a menu that has a long list of items, i.e., [CATALOG] or [APPS]; to jump down to a specific portion of the list, press the key that corresponds to the first letter of the function to be used. For example, when in the CATALOG, pressing the [APPS] key will jump the user to the "B" section of the CATALOG.
• Use the number keys printed in front of certain functions to access them quickly rather than scrolling down to the function, highlighting it, and pressing [ENTER]. For example, try accessing the convert to fraction command (►Frac) by pressing [MATH] [1].
• New MATHPRINT shortcuts have been added for the [F1 - F5] keys. For example, pressing [ALPHA] [F1] will bring up the FRAC menu while pressing [ALPHA] [F4] will bring up the YVARS menu.
